Visiting the Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden.
Visiting Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden, a gem that you will find in Worcester, is a must for anyone who needs to learn more about the succulents of our country. Not only are they 100 years old this year (2021), but they have a massive collection of some of the best succulents that anyone can expect with amazing stories and myths about the succulents.

The staff at the botanical gardens are super knowledgeable and eager to assist with knowledge about the area or why certain plants only appear in certain regions. Some of the plants only need a little water, while others require a particular type of soil to flourish.

I have to admit, I never knew I would have so much fun as I have had to learn about the succulents. It was excellent, and I will now know more about them before planting these essential plants.

You have to have the correct type of soil to have some of the succulents, and if you are in doubt, the best is to ask a professional. I was impressed with the nursery that had such a massive variety of plants, and the care and passion shown to these plants by the staff were enlightening.

There was true passion in the way the plants were cared for at Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden. You can find and witness the different regions where you could discover specific plants on the garden’s outskirts. The Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden created a garden by incorporating the different soils for specific plants that you can only find within that particular region.
Creating this by itself must have been a mammoth task, and I take my hat off to them.

So, whenever you can make your way to Worcester, make sure to visit the Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden. I would make my way there some time as I need a couple more hours to familiarise myself with all the raw beauty at the gardens.
