The Hamlet Country Lodge is one of those authentic small-town hotels that has was turned into a lodge.
A very vibey funky and down to earth place where the people are the place.
The Lodge has a vast outdoor space where people can relax and unwind and even have a snack to eat or have some of the excellent coffee that will be served there.
An authentic bar that originates from another era, entirely lending the Lodge the enigmatic but glorious nostalgia feeling.
I can hear the melody, laughter and see thick smoke of cigars from the bar in a time gone past!
We were fortunate to have breakfast indoors and exclusive in the small but cosy restaurant. We were regaled with fascinating stories of what happens there. The people and staff at Hamlet Country Lodge are warm and loving.
Just the place to relax.
The accommodation was clean, neat and tidy. Perfect rooms down the passage. It is kept very private with a locked door to keep the other visitor away from the guests that are staying over.
