Arriving in Tulbagh we, the educational group for November 2018, made our way to the EpiCafé for coffee and scones.
Here we were met by Nick Van Huyssteen, the owner of EpiCafé and EpiStay. He shared some anecdotes with us about the ins and outs of Tulbagh followed by the most delicious coffee and scones. Nick’s hospitality was immeasurable and combined with some history of Tulbagh and plans for the future what a way to start the morning.
The EpiCafé is not only a coffee shop, but Nick also has EpiStay that offers comfortable accommodation in the heart of the village. What better way than to stay in the centre of Tulbagh, venturing out, exploring Tulbagh at your own leisure.
Although a small town, Tulbagh, has some extraordinary and diverse history that is so well worth exploring never mind the wine farms. We are hooked!
