Vission
To be accessible to the whole community and to depict the natural and cultural heritage of the Ceres area. Also, to maintain the museum’s reputation as an institution of cultural significance and to deliver service excellence at all times

Mission
To preserve and promote Ceres’ historical and cultural heritage through collecting, conserving, documenting, research and displaying natural and cultural objects related to the history of the more significant Ceres area

Objectives
To exhibit the history of the whole community in the Witzenberg area

1. To get the community involved in museum projects and public programmes
2. To create an excellent educational curriculum for the local schools in the Witzenberg area.
3. To show tourists the rich and diverse history of the area

Our visit to Ceres Togryersmuseum was one of the highlights of our stay, I learned so much in the 2 hours we could spend there that I have to go back and learn some more about our rich and diverse history.
